About Ooty.

Ooty (Udhagamandalam), in the Nilgiri hills, is known for its tea estates and cooler climate, and has long been home to some of India's better-regarded boarding schools.

Ooty and Srinagar are both hill stations with a strong boarding-school tradition, but they don't resemble each other much beyond that: different terrain, different climate, different regional character entirely.
