In 2019, we published a brief snapshot of our initiatives. It focused on our work in 360-degree photography, e-commerce, and our pro-bono services for non-profits. The business landscape has changed significantly since then, and so have we. This article is a look back at that point in time and a matter-of-fact account of our evolution since.
A business journey is rarely a straight line. Ours has been one of adaptation, strategic pivots, and a deepening focus on where we can provide the most value. Through all the changes, two things have remained constant: our foundation in digital advertising and our commitment to helping organizations achieve their goals.
The Constant: A Foundation in Search
Since our inception, managing Google Ads campaigns and providing Google Ad Grants services for non-profits has been a core part of our identity. This work has grounded us in the principles of data-driven marketing and has been the consistent thread weaving through every stage of our evolution.
The Insta360 Era (2018-2019): A Foray into E-commerce
In 2018, we identified an opportunity in the nascent market for consumer 360-degree cameras. We became India's first authorized distributor for Insta360 and established a successful e-commerce operation on Amazon.in. This venture proved to have significant market demand; at its peak, our incoming stock was often fully booked by customers before the shipments even landed at the Bangalore airport. It was a valuable experience in logistics, market development, and direct-to-consumer sales.
The Strategic Pivot to a Service-Only Model (Post-2020)
Several factors prompted a significant shift in our business model following the lockdown period. Growing geopolitical tensions and the resulting complexities in the import supply chain for Chinese goods made the hardware resale business increasingly challenging. Simultaneously, our interest shifted toward professional-grade immersive technology.
We transitioned to using professional cameras like the Matterport Pro2. A key factor in this decision was Matterport's partner program, which stipulated that official resellers were not permitted to offer scanning services. This clarified our path forward. We exited the e-commerce business to focus entirely on becoming a specialized service provider.
Deepening Our Expertise in Immersive Technology
Since committing to a service-only model, we have created hundreds of Matterport virtual tours for businesses of all sizes across India. A portion of this work has been through Matterport's own Capture Services program for the APAC region. While these projects cannot be published in our portfolio due to non-disclosure agreements, the experience has been instrumental in refining our skills on large-scale, enterprise-level projects. Today, this focus has allowed us to build a steady client base that includes both small businesses and large corporations.
The Next Evolution (2025): Adding Web Development & SEO
In 2025, we formally added web development and technical SEO to our list of services. This was a natural and logical expansion. Our background in search engine marketing gave us a clear perspective: a brilliant paid advertising campaign can be limited by a website that isn't technically sound or optimized for organic search. For clients without budgets for paid advertising, a strong organic foundation is not just important—it's everything.
By offering these services, we can now provide a more complete digital ecosystem for our clients, ensuring their investment in a virtual tour or an ad campaign is supported by a high-performing and visible web presence.
